Half of the world’s population suffers from dental and oral diseases, with nearly 75% of them living in low to middle-income countries. According to the FDI, around 2.4 billion people have limited to no access to basic oral health care. Unfortunately, the majority of them are children.
Two of the most common dental problems are cavities and gum diseases. For us, we often grumble about our dental visits to get a tooth filling or dental hygiene treatment. But for many people out there, these simple conditions can turn into life-threatening conditions if left untreated.
Dr. Jonathan B. Levine and Stacey Levine believe that everyone deserves to eat without pain, laugh, and live their lives confidently to the fullest. They decided to bring the GLO Good Foundation to life.
